Strategic & Operational
Strategy and structure work that meet you where you are. Whether you’re diagnosing what’s broken, planning what’s next, or building something from scratch.
Organizational Support
We start with discovery: listening sessions, culture assessment, and a findings report that reflects what's actually happening inside your organization. From there, we move into implementation, acting on those findings, facilitating change, building systems, and coaching leaders through it. Once the heavy lifting is done, we step back to light-touch coaching: ongoing support and live problem-solving as issues come up. This is Silphium's flagship offering, and it can stand alone or connect directly into Strategic Planning.
Whole-organization diagnostic and improvement work, anchored in staff interviews and a findings report, then helping the team act on it.
Strategic Planning
We start with an environmental scan, stakeholder input, and an honest read of where things stand today. From there, we move into plan development and facilitated sessions, producing a written strategic plan the organization can actually use. Ongoing coaching covers accountability check-ins and plan refinement, so the work doesn't stall out after the document is done. Strategic Planning can stand alone or connect directly into Organizational Support.
A facilitated process that helps an organization clarify direction, set priorities, and leave with a written plan.
Fractional Chief of Staff
We start with scoping and onboarding: getting inside the systems already in place and understanding where support is actually needed. From there, it becomes an active, embedded partnership, real operational work, not advice from the sidelines. As things stabilize and needs shift, the relationship can move into a lighter project-based or advisory arrangement.
Embedded support for a leader or small organization that needs a thought partner, operator, and implementer without hiring one.
Launch Point
Launch Point covers the full arc: project design, grant writing, and application development through active administration, project management, stakeholder coordination, and reporting. At close-out, it includes transition planning, final reporting, and sustainability planning, so the work outlasts the funded period it started in. We run two channels: CSP, focused on federal charter school program grants, and Big Ideas, for complex initiatives that need the same rigor without the federal framework.
Taking an organization from an idea to a funded, working program: we help design the work, win the money, and stay through launch.
