Leadership Lab

Information Sessions

Most people who lead others were promoted because they were good at the work, and nobody taught them how to manage. Leadership Lab is Silphium Collective’s answer to that: practical leadership development for anyone responsible for other people’s work, whether or not “manager” is in your title.
It’s built around the challenges you’re facing right now, not a fixed curriculum, and it’s free, so cost is never the reason a leader goes without support.

This session is a look inside before anything launches. You’ll hear what we’re building and have a say in what goes into it.

In the session, we’ll cover:

  • The problem we’re solving: where managers get stuck, from performance conversations to unclear roles to burnout, and why most training misses it.

  • How the series works: a pre-set schedule of six sessions, each built around a real leadership challenge, with a tool you can use the same week. The first session is in January 2027.

  • Two ways to take part: join the open sessions as they come, or join a cohort, a small group that works through challenges together over time. All of it is free.

  • A live sample: a quick walkthrough of one tool, the Third Thursday method for performance check-ins.

  • Your input: what are you actually stuck on? Your answers will help shape what we teach.

Who it’s for: First-time and experienced managers, supervisors, team leads, and anyone leading people in mission-driven work, including nonprofits, schools, and public-sector organizations.

What you’ll leave with: a clear picture of the series, one tool to use right away, and a spot on the early-access list for sessions and cohort invitations. We’ll also send you our Performance Management Cheat Sheet.

Work can be better. Come see how.
